Every day SMWS Spirits Educator Dr Andy Forrester will bring you some interesting facts about the single cask whiskies behind each door of our Whisky Advent Calendar. It might be about the casks we have used for maturation, where the flavours come from, or perhaps an interesting fact about the distillery the spirit came from before we got our hands on it and started diversifying its flavour. We hope a wee bit of knowledge enhances the enjoyment of the whisky and you can use it to impress family, friends and colleagues at the Christmas party!
